Getting Started

We specialize exclusively in B2B commercial debt collection — unpaid invoices between businesses. Our primary focus is serving HVAC contractors who are owed money by commercial clients, property managers, general contractors, and building owners for work already completed.

No. We are licensed for B2B commercial debt collection only. We do not pursue consumer or residential debts, which fall under different regulations (including the FDCPA). Our entire operation is built around business-to-business recovery.

Simply submit an inquiry through our website, call us at (347) 830-7780, or use the Submit Documents portal to upload your invoice and case files. We'll review your case within 48 hours and contact you with a recovery strategy and next steps.

Fees & Pricing

Under our contingency model, you pay nothing upfront. We only earn a fee when we successfully recover your debt. Our contingency rates range from 15% to 30% depending on the age and size of the debt. If we don't collect, you owe nothing — no hourly charges, no retainer fees.

Contingency rates are based on factors including the debt amount, the age of the invoice, and the complexity of the case. Newer, larger debts typically qualify for lower rates. We'll provide a clear, written fee agreement before beginning any work so you know exactly what to expect.

Yes. For demand letters and specific pre-litigation actions, we offer flat-fee pricing starting at $75. These are one-time services with no contingency percentage — you pay the flat fee regardless of the outcome.

No. All fees are clearly stated in your service agreement before any work begins. You will never receive an unexpected bill from us. If a case requires additional services — such as filing a mechanic's lien — we discuss and document those costs with you upfront.

The Collection Process

Once we receive your inquiry and supporting documents, we review the details within 48 hours. If we accept the case, we send a formal demand letter to the debtor, begin contact attempts, and pursue every available channel to recover your funds. You'll receive regular status updates throughout the process.

Timelines vary depending on the debtor's responsiveness and the complexity of the case. Some debts are recovered within 30–60 days of the initial demand letter. More complex cases — particularly those requiring negotiation, liens, or escalation — can take several months. We pursue every case as aggressively and efficiently as possible.

If the debtor doesn't respond to the demand letter, we escalate through phone contact, negotiation, and — when warranted — legal remedies such as filing a mechanic's lien. For HVAC contractors, mechanic's liens are often a powerful tool since they attach directly to the property where the work was performed.

Yes. You can check your case status anytime using the Case Status portal on our website — just enter your case reference number and email. We also send updates at key milestones: demand letter sent, debtor contacted, negotiation in progress, lien filed, and payment received.

HVAC Contractors

HVAC contractors face unique challenges — complex project hierarchies, disputed change orders, and clients who withhold final payment after the equipment is installed. We understand the HVAC industry, the typical dispute patterns, and the documentation needed to build a strong case. This specialized knowledge translates to higher recovery rates.

The most helpful documents include: the unpaid invoice(s), any signed contracts or work agreements, proof of delivery or installation, change orders, communication records with the debtor, and any lien waivers. You can upload these securely through our Submit Documents portal.

Yes. HVAC installations typically qualify as improvements to real property, which means you may have mechanic's lien rights. Filing a lien attaches a legal claim to the property where the work was done, which can compel payment. We can evaluate your eligibility and manage the lien filing process when appropriate.

We work with HVAC contractors of all sizes — from sole proprietors and one-truck operations to multi-truck commercial contractors. The process and our contingency pricing are the same regardless of your company size. What matters is that you're owed money for legitimate B2B work.

Legal & Compliance

Yes. We are a NYC DCWP Licensed Debt Collection Agency (License #2136261-DCWP), licensed and bonded in New York. We operate in full compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations governing B2B commercial debt collection.

The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) primarily governs consumer debt collection, not B2B commercial debt. Since we collect only business-to-business debts, the FDCPA does not apply to our operations. However, we still adhere to professional and ethical collection practices in every case we handle.

No reputable agency can guarantee recovery — every case depends on the debtor's financial situation and willingness to pay. What we can guarantee is that we will pursue your case aggressively using every legal tool available, and you pay nothing unless we succeed under our contingency model.
